Chappelle Pet Election
Who will be the very first Pet Mayor of Chappelle Gardens?
We’re inviting our community’s cats, dogs, and critters of all kinds to throw their paws into the race! This lighthearted election is all about celebrating our pets, having fun as a community, and raising awareness about the importance of voting.
📅 Key Dates
- Applications close: September 24
- Paw-ty Leaders announced: October 8
- Final vote: October 20 – in alignment with the City of Edmonton Elections to help encourage awareness around civic voting!
😸 Important Note
Our Pet Mayor will, of course, hold no real political power (other than the power to win our hearts). This initiative is all in good fun, designed to bring smiles, laughter, and community spirit to Chappelle Gardens.
So… who will lead us into the future?
The top dog? The purr-sident? Or maybe a surprise underdog (or under-hamster)?
