2025 New Construction (Assuming internal Approvals):
- Stage 89
- Desrochers Stage 26
- Completion of stage 85 in West Chappelle that started in 2024
- Heritage Valley Trail from 32nd Ave to 141st to open winter of 2025
Additional Assumptions for the area:
- Anthem United to finish stage 41 pond expansion and landscaping
- We extend greenway along old 156st to tie into Anthem’s piece connecting to 28th Ave
- Hoping to get traffic operations approval to open Chappelle Drive from Garth Worthington School to 28th Ave. If approved, anticipate opening mid to late February to public.
Ellerslie Road & Bridge:
- Pre Qualifications have been received and contractors have been shortlisted for tender
- Many different options for traffic management but all option propose keeping Ellerslie road open for the duration of the project with limited short term closures or flaggers. Still a lot of details to iron our here so this could change and will be fluid throughout the project
