The Chappelle Gardens Residents Association is pleased to offer a bike rental program for residents looking to enjoy the community’s pathways, parks, and amenities. Whether you’re heading out for a leisurely ride or exploring the community with family and neighbours, our fleet of bicycles is available to help you make the most of your community.

Eligibility
This program is available to CGRA residents only. A valid membership account may be required at the time of rental.
Rental Information
- Bikes are available for same-day use only.
- All rentals must be returned by 9:00 PM on the date of rental.
- Rental requests past 8:00 PM each day will de denied.
- Bikes must be returned in the same condition in which they were borrowed.
- Late returns may result in suspension of rental privileges.
Safety Requirements
The safety of our residents is our top priority.
- Helmets are required for all riders under 18. Helmets are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED for adult riders.
- A limited number of helmets are available to borrow at no additional charge.
- Riders are responsible for ensuring their helmet fits properly before use.
- Please obey all applicable traffic laws, pathway regulations, and posted signage.
Waiver Requirement
A new waiver must be completed for each participant, every time a bike is rented, regardless of previous participation in the program. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the waiver on their behalf.
Rider Responsibilities
By participating in the Bike Rental Program, riders agree to:
- Operate the bicycle safely and responsibly.
- Inspect the bicycle before use and report any concerns immediately.
- Secure the bicycle when unattended.
- Report any damage, loss, theft, or accidents as soon as possible.
- Return all borrowed equipment, including helmets and locks, by the designated return time.
Equipment Availability
Bike rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. The CGRA reserves the right to refuse or revoke rental privileges where safety concerns, policy violations, or misuse of equipment occur.
